Preschool Program

Overview of the Program

The Preschool Program of Cebu School of Mary provides a nurturing and developmentally appropriate foundation for early learners. Guided by the MATATAG Curriculum of the Philippine Department of Education, the program promotes holistic growth through play-based, inquiry-driven, and structured learning experiences. Our Preschool levels include Playgroup (2.5–3 years old), Nursery (3–4 years old), and Kindergarten (4–5 years old, in accordance with DepEd memorandum). The program supports early literacy, numeracy, socio-emotional development, creativity, and independence in a safe and engaging environment that respects every child’s unique pace and learning style.

The Gradeschool Program of Cebu School of Mary delivers a structured and progressive academic experience aligned with the MATATAG Curriculum of the Philippine Department of Education. The program strengthens foundational competencies in literacy, numeracy, science, and values education while cultivating critical thinking, collaboration, and responsible citizenship. Through balanced academic rigor and character formation, learners are guided to become confident, independent, and lifelong learners prepared for higher levels of education.

Overview of the Program

The Auxiliary Learning Programs of Cebu School of Mary enrich the academic journey of learners through specialized skill development opportunities. These programs include Chinese Language, Coding for Kids, and Music, designed to broaden global competence, digital literacy, creativity, and artistic expression. While primarily offered to currently enrolled learners, select summer programs are open to the wider community, providing opportunities for extended learning beyond the regular academic year.

The Special Education Program of Cebu School of Mary, guided by the Path to Independence Program (SPED Bridging), provides inclusive and individualized learning pathways for learners who require specialized educational support. The program integrates guided learning systems, occupational therapy support, and DepEd-prescribed special education frameworks to help learners build functional academic skills, adaptive behavior, and independence. Through collaborative engagement among educators, therapists, and families, the program empowers learners to transition confidently within inclusive settings and everyday life.

Program Eligibility

Eligible learners must present medical and/or psychiatric documentation recommending a specialized learning system. An existing occupational therapy record is not required for admission but is strongly encouraged upon enrollment. The program is open to learners who require structured, individualized, and therapeutic learning support.
